The Lovisa log cabin also known as the Koti from Finnlife is part of the Finnforest range of quality garden buildings.

 The Lovisa makes a strong statement about your
love of the of the garden.
With its three rooms, broad patio, and the cosiest loft you can imagine, there's space for everyone. Just as well because you'll find yourself spending more and more time here.  The Red Metal Tile Roof upgrade will need to be installed on roofing battens and type 1F roofing felt. The battens are
included in the price and supplied as 14 x 3.3m & 14 x 3.0m lengths. However we do not supply the type 1F Roofing felt,
but this widely available from most DIY outlets. You will
require enough to cover 28.51m2

Wood Stain & Protector

Your cabin is supplied untreated with the exception of the floor bearers (and terrace, if included).
It is essential that the building is treated immediately after construction to preserve the timber and eliminate the risk of rot. 
Finnforest supply and recommend Osmo wood stain and protector a very high quality professional product not readily available in the shops. If you are sourcing your own treatment please ensure that it is of equal quality.

    Guttering Kit

      For a neat, virtually drip-free finish, you can channel your rainwater away with an optional guttering kit. Guttering kits collect rainwater and channel it via outlets and down-pipes. They also provide the opportunity to save rainwater.



    Each cabin has its own optional guttering kit complete with fitting instructions and all fixings (some cutting may be required). The gutters are finished in dark brown and complement the natural colour of your cabin.
    Please note: the brackets are specially designed to fit the cabins' angled fascia boards.

    Underfloor Heating

     

    Imagine a heating system providing you with sufficient heat to warm your toes as well as the as the space around you on a winter's morning. Underfloor heating is economic and controllable at the turn of a dial, an ideal optional extra when purchasing your cabin. The flat ribbon underfloor heating has many features and benefits. It fits on any subfloor and under any floor covering as a primary heat source



    The system is very easy to install only requires a Part P qualified electrician to connect the thermostat. Once installed a suitable covering such as the optional Finnforest laminate flooring or similar is required to cover the heating system.

    These complementary packs are available either as engineered wood flooring or as laminate flooring. The engineered wood option comes in a 3 strip Country Oak finish for the ultimate in luxurious flooring whilst the highly durable, easy to maintain and hygienic laminate flooring utilises a precise installation locking system and is available in 2 attractive finishes- Canmore Oak and Carelia Maple.     A Finnforest cabin is specifically designed for easy diy erection. If you think it's beyond you however or you simply don't have the time we can help.

    Email us here and we will pass your details on to an independent, carefully selected family run partnership specialising in the erection of log cabins. They will contact you to discuss your requirements and quote you directly. This is a no obligation service and a chat with them will cost you nothing. If you should accept their quote then the contract for this service is between you and them and they will invoice you directly for their services.

    All orders are acknowledged with a receipt of purchase and you will be contacted prior to delivery. Delivery will normally be made within 14
    working days from receipt of your order.

     We will not debit your card until the building is ready for delivery.
    Please contact us now if delivery time is critical as lead times can vary on individual units on a daily basis.
    Cabins are delivered by the manufacturers. They are offloaded using a Hyab crane or similar and placed as near as possible to where you indicate but vehicles are not permitted to drive on private property. Vehicles are large and you must notify us if access is likely to be an issue. Drivers will offload only.

    Any problems relating to the product must be reported within 14 days
    from receipt of delivery. Any claim being made must be supported by
    your receipt of purchase.
